Take the time to look into all aspects of the planning process.
Travel agents encourage people to plan their flights in advance.
“The best time to book your flight for Spring Break would be at least nine months in advance to when you are planning to travel,” Ms. Cara Morrow, owner of 2 Morrow Travel Agency, said.
Flight prices affect overall vacation costs.
“One person can easily estimate between estimate $1,000-$1,500 while as a group of people you probably get it down as low as $800, depending on where you stay,” Mr. Christian Binger, travel agent at Get Gone Travel, said.
Spring Break is more expensive than simple getaway trips or even Fall Break.
“Spring Break will always be the most popular break that families take with the only exception being summer break, but sometimes Spring Break can break the bank as well,” Mr. Binger said.
Tropical places are popular places families go.
“The Caribbean, Dominican Republic, and Jamaica are everyone’s top choices when it comes to Spring Break right now. So if you have a passport, it’s definitely huge but other than that, if you wanna go domestically, a lot of people are going to Arizona or Florida’s gulf shores,” Ms. Morrow said.
Remember to keep in mind the surroundings nearby.
“Please keep an eye on where you’re at, what you’re doing and who’s around you to make sure that you are not acting in a way that would make you a target for someone stealing something from you or even worse,” Mr. Binger said.
Safety is the key to easy travel.
“There is truly so much going on in the world now, and who knows what will happen in the future so my biggest tip is to stay at your resort or stay in the designated city you were traveling to is all I can say,” Ms. Amy Hite, owner of Travels by Amy, said.
