The Super Bowl 2025 commercials were disappointing. Commercials were priced at $8 million just for a 30-second spot but did not have as much spark as previous years.
Kanye West made another appearance in the Super Bowl commercials promoting his clothing store, Yeezy.com.
“The best commercial was the Kanye West commercial. It was funny because he recorded it on his iPhone while getting new diamond teeth grills,” junior Jayden Pierce said.
The funniest commercial of 2025 might have been the Bud Light commercial, which included singer Post Malone, comedian Shane Gillis, and Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning.
“The funniest commercial was the Bud Light commercial. It had my favorite comedian Shane Gillis who is the funniest comedian out right now, and him being with Post Malone and Peyton Manning made me laugh,” sophomore David French said.
The first commercial to premiere was the Lilo & Stitch teaser. In it, Stitch runs onto the field and is chased by security until he drives away in an injury cart and into the goalpost.
“The most entertaining commercial might’ve been the Lilo & Stitch one. It was the first I saw, and it made my little cousins laugh for so long. I liked how Stitch was chased around the field and how real it looked. I will most likely plan to watch the movie because I liked the first one as well,” sophomore Duncan Warren said.
Tom Brady and Snoop Dogg came together for StandUpToAllHate.org to encourage everyone to be kinder and accept differences between people.
“The most inspiring commercial was the Snoop Dogg and Tom Brady commercial, and it promoted a great message. The message of the commercial is to show that people can come together and ignore the differences between one another,” sophomore Andres Martinez said.
Ram Trucks appeared during the commercial break, and they had the idea to make Glen Powell Goldilocks humorous.
“I recognized the guy was from the new Twisters so I continued to watch, and after watching the commercial, that was my favorite. He drove a truck into a dragon and jumped out to punch it. He then grilled it on a trailer connected to the back of the truck, and after it was cooked, he ate it instead of the porridge from earlier in the commercial. Later, he plugged his chainsaws into the truck on the back and then made a sculpture of himself. After that, he drove his truck over a volcano. Then, it turned out it was all a remix of a bedtime story made by the uncle, and towards the end, the bears started driving the trucks,” sophomore Jameson Barnhart said.
