The Prom season is in full swing, and plans for this year’s dance and post-prom events are being finalized.
Where is Prom?
Prom is being hosted at Barn at Bay Horse Inn, tying into the Garden of Fairy Tales theme. Barn at Bay provides the ideal setting for a magical night to remember.
“This year’s theme and venue is a lot different from last year, the Garden of Fairy Tales fits so well with Barn at Bay, since it will go so well with all of our decorations and everything will tie in together so nicely,” junior Ameera Hooks said.
Barn at Bay Horse Inn will also house other features, such as a photo booth to turn prom memories into sentimental keepsakes.
“This year we are also renting a photo booth, one that students can actually sit in instead of the 360 degree camera like last year. This way, students can have photos that will be printed off immediately for them,” Mrs. Iana Allen, Prom sponsor, said.
When and where are tickets being sold?
Tickets are required for entry to Prom. Tickets will go on presale for seniors only on April 11, juniors may purchase tickets on April 14, 15, and 17. Each Ticket costs $75 and includes appetizers for students to enjoy.
“We are posting all of the dates and information for the student body to see right before Spring Break. We are making QR codes and finalizing all of the plans to kick everything off and start selling tickets right when we come back,” Mrs. Allen said.
What are the plans for post-prom?
For post-prom, juniors and seniors will head to Kings Island on April 27, the day after Prom. The Post-Prom Committee has dedicated time and effort into ensuring a memorable experience.
“We have been hosting fundraisers, like purse bingo, to pay for transportation, and we have been discussing the plans for contacting Kings Island regarding prices for each student for the day,” Mrs. Tracie Rhynearson, Post-Prom Committee member, said.
When and where are Post-Prom tickets being sold?
Post-prom tickets will go on sale at the same dates as Prom tickets. Tickets will range from $37-$40.
“Tickets provide everything for the day. It includes transportation, entry to the park, and one meal,” Mrs. Rhynearson said.
