Melt N’ Dip’s popular Dubai chocolate gained attention through a TikTok viral trend. The dessert shop in Fishers has drawn crowds from all over Indianapolis.

The original Dubai chocolate bar went viral on TikTok, inspiring others to try to recreate it. Dubai chocolate consists of milk chocolate filled with pistachio cream and knafeh, which is a common ingredient in Middle Eastern desserts.

Melt N’ Dip’s version of the chocolate dessert contains strawberries with melted milk chocolate and knafeh over top. It is garnished with chopped pistachios, which not only adds to the aesthetic appeal but also the flavor and texture.

The fresh strawberries were served in a plastic cup with the toppings drizzled over top. The serving size was easily enough for two people to share, with around 15 strawberries inside. The dessert had a unique taste, as the pistachio cream and knafeh added a twist to an original chocolate covered strawberry. 

Melt N’ Dip also has a variety of other desserts, including crepes, waffles, and coffee. However, the shop has very few dessert items for under $10. One cup of the Dubai chocolate strawberries including tax was more than $17, which we believe is expensive for a cup of strawberries. 

Videos of reviews and taste-testings have gained lots of attention, inspiring more people to make the trip to try the chocolate. 

As there are currently only 11 locations in the U.S., the closest Melt N’ Dip shop is more than 35 minutes away from GHS; however, the popularity has drawn customers from the Greenwood area.

We went on a Friday night around 5 p.m., so the most time-consuming part was the rush-hour traffic getting to Fishers. Once we arrived at the shop, there was no line and we were served in less than five minutes. 

Overall, the experience took approximately two hours, and cost $20. It is a unique dessert, but we believe there are other equally delicious desserts closer to home.
