Summer is approaching.
Some people love staying active during the summer, especially at Freedom Springs.
“Whenever I get a chance, I enjoy the pool and tanning, and I prefer to go to Freedom Springs,” freshman Maddelyn Cravens said. “During summer, I play softball almost every weekend.”
Some kids simply enjoy being out of school.
“My favorite part about summer is for sure not having school and being able to go to my lake house and hanging out with my friends,” sophomore Gabe Ward said. “I haven’t worked during the summer yet, but this year I will be.”
Going to the pool isn’t for everybody.
“I used to go to Freedom Springs every day, but since I’ve grown older, it’s just not as amusing to me anymore,” Ward said.
Why swim at Freedom Springs when you could work there?
“I work at Freedom Springs as a lifeguard,” junior Nic Grimes said.
Friends and family are a very important part of summer.
“My favorite part about summer is being able to hang out with friends,” Grimes said.
Working two jobs is the way to go; a double job means double pay.
“I do work, I work for my dad, then I also will work for freedom this year,” senior Waveland Goodrich said.
Getting that exercise in the summer is important, as playing baseball.
“I play baseball over the summer,” Waveland said.
