All students will always have their own opinions, especially when it comes to movie picks.
Students have differing choices for movies to watch. Some love comedy or horror, but sophomore Briar Simpson has a unique choice.
“My favorite movie would be “Forrest Gump” because it’s such an inspiring movie. It’s about this guy who has autism, and he lives the best of his life and is super happy all the time,” Simpson said.
On a more unconventional note, other students can pick stranger movies. Junior Roan Doughty talks about her reasons for picking distinctive movies.

“My favorite movie is “Midsommar” because it’s a very weird and interesting movie with a lot of foreshadowing in it,” Doughty said.
Some people rewatch movies just to see their favorite characters when they need a good laugh. People also may rewatch their favorite movie to see one scene, just like freshman Beau Syers.
“My favorite scene is where Lightning McQueen and Mater wake up the tractors in the field,” Syers said.
The scenes in movies that often stick with people are the ones that leave them thinking about it after. Funny scenes stay in people’s minds and bring them a sense of joy.
“My favorite scene from “The Croods” is the opening scene when they hunt. I love this scene because it is very fascinating to watch, and it catches my eye,” Senior Ethan Rose said.
Moving more towards the characters in the movie, Simpson had something to say about the main character.
“My favorite character in “Forrest Gump” would be the main character Forrest Gump
because he is so inspirational and loyal,” Simpson said.
Most people would watch a movie once or twice and change their feelings about the plot of the movie, but Doughty sticks to her opinion.
“My favorite character is definitely Dani, the main character. I’ve watched the movie like 4 times, and it’s always been her,” Doughty said.
