Chicken has become the bawk of the fast food industry, with many restaurants introducing new menu items.

Freshman Luke Troyer is a very picky eater. His appetite is not open to many types of food, however, there is one food that piques his interest. Chicken tenders are one of his favorite food items.
“I think Culvers has some of the best chicken tenders out of any restaurant,” Troyer said.
Culver’s is a favorite restaurant for Troyer. However, he doesn’t come for the burgers; Instead, he comes for the chicken side of the menu.
“The chicken tenders are crispy and reasonably priced,” Troyer said.
Chick-fil-A is known for having some of the best chicken in the fast food industry. Sophomore Kate Hankins thinks that the restaurant is one of the best places to be in the world.
“I love Chick-fil-A, and I often get it after I have an activity after school,” Hankins said.
Chick-fil-A is a private company that is well known for supporting Christian charities. Hankins is aware of this, and she feels proud eating at a restaurant that supports her religion.
“I also like Chick-fil-A because they support Christian charities. As a Christian, I appreciate it when businesses support Christianity,” Hankins said.
Raising Cane’s is one of the most beloved Chicken restaurants for many. For Junior Jack Thompson, Raising Cane’s makes even his least favorite college, Purdue, enjoyable.
“I am a Hoosier first, and I love IU. I normally do not like Purdue, but Raising Cane’s is so good, it makes me enjoy Purdue,” Thompson said.
Thompson even claims that Raising Cane’s is worth waiting an hour for because the chicken tenders are so good.
“One time I was at Purdue and I waited an hour for Canes. It was a long wait, but the tenders and the canes sauce were so good it was worth the wait,” Thompson said.
