There are lots of different TV shows, and they all bring out different opinions from all kinds of people.
Everyone has a favorite TV show. Some people like shows that make them cry, scream, or keep them on the edge of their seat, like freshman Miya Hornaday.

“My favorite TV shows are The Vampire Diaries and The Originals because I love the friendship, family, and love in it. I also have a passion for vampires and supernatural things,” Hornaday said “I also watch Stranger Things because I love a good mystery,” Hornaday said.
The best thing about TV shows is everyone has their own opinion. For example, Hornaday may be a fan of love shows; however, some people are the opposite, like senior Connor Neathery.
“My least favorite show is Love Island because I think it’s really corny and cringy. It gives me second hand embarrassment, it feels so forced, and most of the couples don’t even go well together,” Neathery said.

Although Neathery isn’t a fan of Love Island, he has taken a liking to another reality TV show. This shows the diversity of television, even of the same genre.
“My favorite show is Survivor, because I like all of the drama between some people, and I like seeing everyones strategy to win games and the overall show,” Neathery said.
Neathery and Hornaday don’t have much in common relating to TV shows. Neathery likes a show about surviving, while Hornaday is scarred by one.
“My least favorite show is The Walking Dead. I’ve heard good things about it, but it traumatized me as a child. Growing up, I would listen to my family members watch it as I was going to bed, and I’d not be able to fall asleep because I’d dream of an apocalypse,” Hornaday said.
Some people may fall in love with a show that is very suspenseful and keeps them on their toes.
“The last TV show I watched was The Good American Family on Wednesday after school. I started watching it but never really had the time because of softball,” sophomore Brooklyn Bell said.
Another good thing about TV shows is that you can see your favorite actors in other kinds of TV shows. Bell watches the Good American family, which stars Ellen Pompeo. Pompeo is also in a medical show called Grey’s Anatomy. Bell also watches House, a medical drama, so she might enjoy Grey’s Anatomy.
“I want to watch a show called Dr. House. The first time I heard about it was on TikTok from some people doing reviews, and I heard people bringing it up in culinary class,” Bell said.
