Escape the bipolar weather of Indiana or make the most of it. Feel the fun of traveling or maybe just feel the comfort of home. Spring Break is only two weeks away.
Mrs. Rhonda Werner definitely wants to escape Indiana’s cold weather. Escaping to the Arizona heat.
“I’m going to Scottsdale, Arizona. My son is a pro wiffleball player so I’m going to his All-Star game. I look forward to the Arizona heat, getting out of this weather. My husband and I will go by plane and, then, stay in a hotel. We don’t plan on going to see anything since we’ll probably only be there for a day or two,” Mrs. Werner said.
Sophomore Addisen Stephenson will have the sweetest 16 with her family.
“I’m going to Gulf Shores, Alabama. I’m going because I decided that I wanted to go on vacation with my family instead of having a sweet 16 birthday party because I don’t really get to go on vacations like that. We’re driving there, which will be an around 12 hour drive, and we’re going to be there for four days. Our plans while we’re there are going to the beach, spending time with my family, and just having fun,” sophomore Addisen Stephenson said.
Mrs. Melissa Burger is continuing her annual staycation vacation to French Lick with her friends.
“I go to French Lick with my friends every year. We bring all the kids. We have a whole spa day, get nice dinners, and have pool days for the kids. We get to be together away from work. We stay anywhere from two to four days. West Baden Springs Hotel has beautiful architecture. It’s nice to go with everyone because it’s not far,” Mrs. Burger said.
Sophomore Lindsey Par is going to explore Michigan and have fun on the water.
“I’m going to Michigan to visit my cousins, go to the beach, and go to Mackinac Island. We’re going to ride bikes, go on boats, and go kayaking. Basically we’re going all over Michigan. We’re driving to Michigan and we’re going to be there for around three days,” sophomore Lindsey Par said.
Junior Stella Mulry is going to stay home and relax.
“For Spring Break, I’m going to be working and gaming with my boyfriend. I’m going to stay in my bed relaxing. I have a cat so I’ll be taking care of her. My room is my favorite place ever, and I’m definitely a homebody so I don’t really care to go anywhere. Most of my friends are in sports so they’ll all be staying here for Spring Break, too,” Murly said.
Sophomore Chloe Allen is looking forward to kicking back on the couch and binge watching her favorite show.
“I’m just going to stay at home and watch TV. I’m going to binge watch ‘The Rookie.’ I’ll probably clean my room, spend time with my family, and hang out with my friends. I have volleyball during Spring Break so I won’t just be home all the time, but I’ll enjoy relaxing on the couch with my dog. I might go to my cousins’ house and spend some time with them,” Allan said.
