Garage store offers to impressive turnout

    Garage+store+offers+to+impressive+turnout

From basics to standout pieces, the new store, Garage, which just opened at Greenwood Park Mall, has it all.

I went to Garage on the day of the grand opening. The turnout was impressive. There were people in every corner, and the checkout line was about 10 people long at all times. There was no doubt it was a great turnout considering the temperature in the store due to all the bodies.

In the past, I had browsed the online store and was ultimately very interested in the clothing they had. The only issue was that I prefer not to shop online because I never know exactly what I am getting. So naturally, I took the first opportunity I had to check out the store in person. The best way to describe the style of clothing is edgy and definitely for those who prefer to stand out in their style.

As I  walked in, I was impressed with the overall look of the store. It was bright white, and the layout was visually appealing. As I walked in, I was handed a gift card and was told it was for the grand opening. The store was a decent size, very clean, very organized, and the employees greeted us with a welcoming attitude. The environment was great; there was even a DJ playing upbeat music in the corner.

I spent about 40 minutes browsing the store. I even tried on several tops and jeans with my sister. They had a variety of clothing and styles. I do not recall disliking anything that I saw or tried on. Most articles had several different color options. Each piece was unique, and even the basic articles were comfortable and had a flattering fit.

Unfortunately, the store was limited only to female clothing and was not inclusive in size. Even the largest sizes looked small, making the clothes limited to girls of certain sizes.

When l browsed the prices I saw that they were relatively high. A majority of their tops ranged from $30- $40 and their pants ranged from $60- $90. The prices are high compared to other stores, and there were no deals going on. I personally believe that this store is a one-item-at-a-time store.

I considered buying the henley seamed long-sleeve tee in either iron grey or bag brown for $29.95 and fell in love with a pair of high-rise wide cargo jeans in the color reme blue for $89.95 but decided against it. I wishfully added the items to my Christmas list to give to my mom and headed to other stores.

I went to Pacsun and was able to get two at items buy one get one 50 percent off and Aerie and got a sweatshirt 40 percent off. I ended up spending $56 all together that day. To compare, if I had purchased the two items from Garage, I would have spent about $120. There is no doubt the items would have been valuable additions to my closet, but I just was not quite ready to take that kind of hit to my bank account.

All in all, Garage has great quality clothing and a variety of options, but for teen girls, it may not be the greatest option cost-wise. Deals may resolve that issue. I would say Garage is now an addition to my preferred stores, and I am excited to see new items as time goes on. I will definitely visit every time I take a trip to the mall.
