Elf on the Shelf memories

Many families have elves that fly down from the North Pole for Christmas time to ensure they are behaving. Some can be a little crazy.

“One time my elf Toby climbed into a cereal box, and there was cereal everywhere when I woke up,” senior Will Davidson said.

Elves are always near us throughout the day around Christmas; they can become our best friends.

“My elf was named Max, and I used to be so obsessed with him. I left food out for him every night, and my mom would put crumbs on his mouth to make it look like he had eaten the food,” senior Cole Basey said.

Not all elves have houses to go to. Some are constantly on the move.

“My bus driver had an elf named Edwardo, and we were always so excited to see where he was on the bus that day. One time he was hanging from the emergency escape hatch,” senior Beetle Speedy said.

The elves can be so creative sometimes. Finding the perfect place to make sure you behave.

“My elf was always in the weirdest places. One time he was fishing in our fish tank, and he was in the freezer another time,” senior Ella Hall said.

Some elves are starting to have a schedule of their own.

“He always shows up when we put our tree up no matter the day. He also always starts on the tree and ends on the tree on Christmas day,” said Hall
