Easter is a wonderful holiday filled with great opportunities to spend time with loved ones, and honoring Jesus while enjoying many easter candies and food. 

Easter can mean different things to different people, some celebrate and some don’t. We were curious about the people who do celebrate it and what exactly their favorite candies are.

“My favorite Easter candy is a chocolate Hershey’s bunny, because I get it every Easter and it’s the first thing I eat out of my Easter basket,” sophomore, Allyson Corbett said.

Even though some people do celebrate Easter in many different popular traditions, some celebrate in their own ways and with their own traditions.

“No, I don’t celebrate but every year we go on a cruise and do the renaissance fair.this year we did celebrate with family with a big dinner and easter baskets, and my favorite candy in my opinion is jelly beans,” freshman, Hailey Singer said

Most people simply just celebrate it just because others celebrate it, and they just mainly want free candy.

“My favorite Easter candies are nerds because they are sweet and delicious. I also enjoy chocolate eggs and money since my parents put them in my basket. The reason why we celebrate Easter is because of popular demand,” freshman, Abraam Rodriguez said.
