Bubblelicious Milk and Tea is popping with business as the new boba company at the local Greenwood Park Mall. 

But, we were not impressed with the drinks that we purchased. The employee that was working was very reserved and introverted but still friendly. It was cool that we got to see how our drinks were made, but the drinks are more on the pricey side. The shakes were $6.80, and all of the other drinks were $5.70. 

We got the same boba in every drink. The boba was extremely weird. We were expecting the boba to pop in our mouths like the kind Ella’s Frozen Yogurt serves, but it was not like that at all. The boba was very chewy, kind of like a gummy bear, but it had no flavor. They put a lot of boba in their drinks so there are two or three of them that come up with every sip.

The shop’s classic milk tea was the worst one that we tried. It had no flavor and a very weird aftertaste. It was different from anything we had ever had before. It had a cold liquid on the top but a warm one on the bottom. The drink was very thick and had a weird temperature after it was all mixed in. Overall, it was a solid 4/10. 

Bubblelicious also offered a variety of shakes. We purchased and tasted the chocolate shake. It was not the best we had, but it was also not the worst. The shakes were $1.10 more but were the same size. The chocolate shake tasted like a chocolate Wendy’s frosty but without enough flavor. It was good, but if we were to order it again we would not get the boba in it. 

The passionfruit green tea was the best drink. It tasted just like Starbucks. The drink had an awesome flavor, and it was so refreshing. The boba in this drink fits in with the flavors as well. The passion fruit made this a fun drink, so we did not think that the boba was a weird add-in. This drink would be perfect with or without boba. 

Finally, the last drink we got was the tiger sugar black milk tea.  This drink reminded us of iced coffee. It had caramel drizzle around the cup, and it tasted a lot like brown sugar. This one was definitely the second-best. It had a weird aftertaste, but the overall taste was okay. 

Boba is definitely not our preferred drink, but for boba lovers, Bubblelicious Milk and Tea is a convenient place to go.
