Greenwood students start to become excited as spring break vacations draw near.
“My favorite vacation spot is definitely St. Pete Florida because it’s usually very warm there. I went with a lot of my friends last year, and we all played basketball at a nearby park and played volleyball on the beach and football in the ocean,” sophomore Braden Chase said.
Junior Kaylee Dibble often thinks about her favorite spot.
“My favorite memory of going to Dubai would definitely be going skiing at the ski place they have there. I wasn’t very good at it, but it was a good experience. I also loved seeing downtown Dubai. It was definitely one of the best Spring Break vacations that I have ever been on,” Dibble said.
Though some think going to Florida is basic, they still envy those who get to go there .
“I love going to Orlando Florida. There is so much to do there. Even if there isn’t a beach nearby. My family and I go to Disney World and Universal studios. Discovery Cove was definitely the coolest place we go to when we go down there. You get to swim with Dolphins and snorkel underwater with some of your favorite underwater animals,” Freshman Chloe Zuniga said.
The experience you have is the important part.
“Going to Hawaii was definitely the coolest experience I have ever had. I loved meeting new people there and seeing how different things were than just going to Florida. I went snorkeling with my entire family which is definitely a great experience I would recommend for everyone,” senior Julio Delarosa said.
Chase talked about why St.Pete is so special.
“This place is very special to me because it is just like the only place that I get to have good quality time with my family. It just all reminds me of good memories with my family,and my friends,” he said.
Zuniga talked about Disney.
“Going to Disney is something everyone should experience at least once in their life. My favorite ride at Disney was definitely the Buzz Lightyear ride. The food there is very expensive but it is so good. Getting the fast passes for Disney is definitely worth it because you get to ride all of the rides at least 2 times,” she said.
