After a memorable Prom night, students arrived ready to have a fun-filled day at Kings Island. 

Having a two-hour long bus ride after a late Prom night was hard on most people. What made it better is being with friends. The bus ride to Kings Island was full of anticipation, waiting to arrive to have a good time. Although the long and could have been uncomfortable, friends made it better. The bus ride back was just as long but felt longer. Having a very long and fun-filled day at an amusement park, most kids slept the whole way. 

Going to Kings Island gave people a great opportunity to try new rides or food because of the big selection they offer. If someone has a fear of big rides, then they have great alternatives. The biggest ride they had there was the Orion with a 300 ft drop. Coming in a close second, the Diamondback, standing at 230ft. These thrilling rides gave a great mix of excitement and fear at once. If big rides are not someone’s forte, then they have much smaller and calmer options that do not go fast nor high up. 

Around Prom season the weather is perfect, not too hot and not too cold. It is warm enough not to need a coat, but a light jacket could be essential. The sun was out, which made it feel amazing, but that also meant that everyone had to prepare and bring sunscreen. Anyone who was not a fan of sweating and being hot, then this was the perfect time to go. 

Anyone who chose to go to Kings Island after Prom knew that the deal that the school provided was a steal. We paid $37 for the ticket, which is less than an actual Kings Island ticket, and got unlimited drinks all day, one free meal, and transportation. 

Overall, Kings Island was a great place to hold an after Prom for many reasons.
